2 year old grape vine growing lenghtly for more than 50 feet, from ground till my second floor terrace trained for 25 feet as a single shoot, in terrace it starts spreading long going on, 1st year i allowed some flower to fruit, the fruit is darh purple small round, thick skin with nice aroma, when juiced skin blends completely in juice giving thick rosy purple juice. One or two hard seeds, mucous pulp, that slides from skin while biting.plz help identify variety. How 2 get mor fruits

    Without seeing the fruit I can’t hazard a guess at what type of grape. There are a few trick you can use for the fruit. Prune back the vine in winter to just a few canes. When new growth starts train them out to make sure you have good sun exposure. When the fruiting begins remove every other starting grape cluster to reduce the overall amount. The plant will have larger, and usually sweeter fruit. This is the technique I use for my white table grapes. Also, as the remaining clusters grow, trim away the immediate surrounding leaves. The plant send energy to that damaged area. If you want to make wine, that is another story…

    Vines keep growing on lengthier and bushy…..even if i pinch the tip, the adjacent bud growing as main vine, there is lateral shoots too… Shold it be pruned? Older parts of vines have no leaves showing up flower buds with small cluster. Temperature of my area is 24-32celcius year round.. How to make it fruit, large clusters…. In our district we dont have grape farms or no body grows grapes in home. Its my first trail… Please help.me
