Hi, I am a photographer that lives in Miami. I was looking to photograph a pair of rings & I found this mushroom growing on my ficus tree. I liked the white film looking stuff on top of it so cut if off and took the picture, it kind of looks like a shell. In the same place where this one was, another is growing. I didnt think much of it but my daughter noticed there is smoke coming out of when the sun hits it. She keeps bugging me to find out what it is and is concerned. What do you think?
