I identified the plant after I had put it on this site. This is a Soldier’s Orchid or sometimes called a Lawn Orchid. Latin, if we must: Zeuxine stratcumatica. It’s common in the China through India and found somewhat rarely in Florida, South Georgia and across the gulf in to Texas. Considered rare in these areas partly because of their small size that makes them difficult to see. Mine was about an inch tall in total. Common size is 5cm to 30cm high. Used a 1:1 micro 60mm lens on the photo.

It is an Orchid. Maybe a type of Habenaria. Can’t find a species yet. Can you show more of the plant? Whole plant, leaves, flower close-up. http://www.bugwood.org/coastscapes/plant.html?code=HARE&saveForm=Submit http://www.florida.plantatlas.usf.edu/Plant.aspx?id=2597
