Notes:
This plant was being sold indoors alongside Bromeliads. Seems to be from a cutting or just aggressively pruned. May not be indoor plant? Largest leaves are 3-3.5 in diameter. The simple leaves are dark green with reddish serration and midrib – glossy & somewhat waxy. Leaves in an alternate decussate (or spiral?) pattern along the stem. New soft stems are green and spotted, older are dark, brownish, spotted. Woody “trunk”. I think it’s very lovely and would hate to kill it with ignorance!

It’s called fabian aralia stump plant. Sun to part shade with minimal water. Let top half of soil get dry. Do not use saucer, let it drain completely through. I killed one with too much water.
