Notes:
This plant comes up every spring in my garden and does very well until Mid June when it lays down and withers. The clumps grow to about 2ft in diameter and the stalks reach about 18″.The flowers are dark purple in the spring. I cut them down to the soil line when they die off in June and they come back shorter and slightly lighter in color in July. What is it???
