Never seen this flower before

I saw this flower growing in a yard today. I’m pretty familiar with most perennials here in zone 6 but I’ve never seen this one. The foliage was soft and feathery, almost like delphinium. It’s about 3 to 4 feet tall.

    I meant Larkspur, not delphinium.

    Maybe standing cypress (Ipomopsis rubra).
