I posted another picture with an open flower. They are not fragrant. There are two seeds in each fruit. And each seed is split in two. The seeds appears white and I didn’t notice an outer case.

Thank you for these very good photos. It was a great help to eliminate others genera and it appeared the leaves are alternate. Unfortunately without a clear image of the plant’s opened flowers, I’m not certain of its ID and reluctant to speculate. Do you know what type of seeds these fruits have? Also are the flowers fragrant? Thank you & best wishes!
