Notes:

These tree seed pods hang on the tree in bunches and are falling off now. The tree has multiple trunks.

    I went back up there today and picked up some and before they break apart, there is 3 of these pieces together in a pod. The tree has yellow leaves,not sawtoothed.

    Beautiful but very invasive. Every seed seems to sprout (and it produces many, many seeds).

    I have one and spend a lot of time getting rid of the babies. You need to do this because it is taking over the South and we will lose our native flora.
