OK, did some research: Phlox stolonifera — is very common in the mountain in the Lumpkin County area.

Looks like phlox to me but I can’t define it more specific. I’ve seen many similar in the Lumpkin County area. There are so many variations and colors vary. Hope somebody smarter than me can help you more.
