![tomatillo1 | Walter Reeves: The Georgia Gardener](https://t9e4s3i5.rocketcdn.me/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/tomatillo1.jpg)
Q: What is this in my garden? It grows like a bush, more wide than tall. The fruit starts as a pod with a small green pea. This pea outgrows the pod, but no bigger then the palm of my hand. The fruit is a light yellow/green color.
A: It’s a tomatillo.
I have no idea how it got into your garden!
