Notes:
From the woods behind my house. This specimin is about 9′ tall but others in the woods are shorter. Evergreen. Has leathery leaves so I categorized it as a shrub. Very plain leaves. I have not noticed a bloom or seed.

The leaf looks more like a Camila but it should be blooming now. Rhododendrons look very similar as well though.

Without its flowers to help with the ID, I’m guessing this might be a type of privet (Ligustrum), possible the glossy privet (L. lucidum)?
