Notes:
found several of these plants on a path within the burnt-out forest from last year’s Rock Mountain fire in Rabun County, GA. After a desolate spring no-plant showing with the strong raining season quickly a carpet of new green popped up, including lots of pokeweed, which had previously only grown 1/2 mile from there. No flowers visible, and the leaves are a maximum of 2 inches long. North facing at 2300 feet altitude.
