Notes:
It has small mid green soft furry leaves that curl. The underside of the leaves are pale green.

Many thanks Laura, it does look like you have found it. No one locally could identify it. Not suprising that it doesn’t flower being so far out of its comfort zone, but it is growing incredibly well.
