Notes:

I sold my home after two years in Arizona and loved this ground cover. I figured that taking pictures would help identify it but so far I haven’t had any help. It’s an evergreen that has purple flowers on stalks which blooms in the spring and fall. I remember it smelling like an evergreen in the forest. Someone did mentioned a Texas Bluebell but it’s not that plant.

I can’t thank you enough for finding the name of this ground cover for me, you’re the best and made my day. I even found a place on line as to where I can buy one. 🙂 Thank you again!

The flowers are bit blurry, I think this might be a type of beard tongue/penstemon (?). Possible the evergreen Foothill Penstemon group (Penstemon heterophyllus). Check out some of its cultivars from these included links. Best wishes! https://plantlust.com/plants/42495/penstemon-heterophyllus-electric-blue/
