I have had this plant for years and it never looked like much and I’ve never known what it is or how to care for it. Just when it was growing back the table it was on fell over and broke the larger leaves.

You might want to check out this information link about the species itself, the Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum.

It’s hard to see from this straight down angle. Do you have picture of the ‘broken large leaves’? I’m unable to see the base of the plant to tell for certain if this a cultivar in the Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum syn. Philodendron bipinnatifidum (?). Check out the included link below for a cultivar named ‘Little Hope’ and see if you have a match. Click on images to enlarge. The link is in foreign language, I’m unable to find a reliable web page for this cultivar. Best wishes!
