I live in a condo, a woman eats these berries and I want to know what they are. I do not know the name of the bush and if the berries are edible?

I’m reluctant to suggest edible plants over the Internet. But these leaves & fruits looks similar to a type of Eugenia plant. Maybe E. uniflora (Suriname cherry/Pitanga). If the flowers are matching the ones on the link below then it is Suriname cherry (if the woman who had consumed the fruits with out any ill effect, she probably knows about its edible properties.)
