Notes:
We’ve had these flowers in our yard for a number of years. I suspect they are wildflowers but no one has been able to identify them. I’ve included pics of the flower and the leaves. They grow extremely tall, 7-8 ft high and spread further every year. I’ve had many suggestions but when I follow up for more information on the web, the flowers either don’t grow that tall or they have some kind of center. These do not have a center at all. Any help kindly appreciated.

Maybe double flowers cutleaf /tall coneflower Gold Glow/Hortensia (Rubedckia laciniata)(?). In my humble gardening experiences, plants sizes can be varied depending on the local growing condition. Check it out and see if you have a match. Click on images to enlarge. Best wishes! http://www.missouribotanicalgarden.org/PlantFinder/PlantFinderDetails.aspx?taxonid=261678
