This grew out of nowhere but i have no idea what is it. Thought it was a sunflower but I’m pretty sure it’s not.

To my eyes this looks like a sunflower with the hairy stem, alternated leaves and the bud has the involucre of bracts (those over lapping green scaled-like- phyllaries). But until the flower opens to confirm or rule out sunflower, I’m only speculating. When it blooms and you still don’t know, make new post with photo of flower.
