Looks like dog bane and bletilla. Personally, I wouldn’t call either of them weeds. Dogbane attracts butterflies to its blooms, is a host for a tiger moth… And is a native plant… Yay! http://naturesnippets.com/2012/06/17/dogbane-tiger-moth/ Bletilla is a Japanese terrestrial orchid… For the shade garden.
