Notes:
Son bought new home but we aren’t sure what his grass is. It definitely needed to be mowed , but with so much rain, have had trouble getting that done. If it is fescue does it need to be reseeded in the fall? Thanks

Is it overgrown zoysia? Cut out a two inch square plug. Fescue will have a reddish base above the crown. Zoysia will have lateral roots called rhizomes and about every half inch along the rhizome there will be new sprouts.

Yes,Just a couple of days ago. Someone who mows our yard went over 2 days ago and couldn’t get their mower thru it. too tall and damp.
