Notes:

This plant is almost 8 feet tall When I bought t I thought it was a Yucca plant. However it seems to be a lot taller than other Yucca’s I’ve seen. What is it and how do I care for it. Does it need to be cut after it is done flowering? The leaves or branches are very sharp. I’ve had the plant for about 5 years and last year was the first time that it flowered. I’ve never done anything to it except watch it grow taller and taller!

also called Spanish Bayonet. I was by an oldtimer when someone died in the country there was no hospital or cemetery, the deceased were buried and a Spanish bayonet was planted on top of the grave so it would never be disturbed! Yucca aloifolia. They named it right YUKKA!

Probably moundlilly yucca. That gets pretty tall. Except that variety tends to have more than one trunk so maybe some other variety, but still looks like yucca.
