The top pic is lamb’s quarter. Many people grow this potherb deliberately for a spring green… Supposed to be related to spinach. Personally, I prefer the chenopodium giganteum over the Chenopodium album that you have. I make sure to leave some to go to seed every year, as I have seen this nutritious edible completely exterminated by people that ate it out of existence. http://www.ediblewildfood.com/lambs-quarters.aspx I like the plant for a nutrient accumulator as well, they get large, and build up organic matter in my poor sand. Second plant might be kale or another leafy green. Kale and lambs quarter both transplant easily.
