Notes:

I’m trying to identify this shrub growing wild in my backyard. I think it may be a hawthorn of some kind because it has sharp thorns on the limbs( as you can see in photo). It has glossy leaves, is evergreen, and the underside of the leaves is white/silver. It’s growing under tall trees and gets quite leggy.
