Notes:
This is a wildflower sown from a packet of mixed seeds. Growing on a rocky hillside in North Georgia. It looks like phlox to me, but I don’t see anything about a gold or yellow phlox. Thanks for your help!!

That looks like wallflowers. They are very common in mixed packets. Some varieties have a great aroma on first blooming but it may fade after time.
