Sighted during our travels…in bushes growing alongside a fence right outside of a business – not in the inner city but rather, on the outskirts of the greater metro/suburban area.

It’s tough to tell without its habit, flowers, etc… I’m taking wild guess for now. Maybe a type of sweet olive (Osmanthus)? Perhaps something in the O. fragrans group? The included link below showed an image of new growth on the sweet olive, check and see if you have a match. Again I’m only guessing. Best wishes!
