Notes:

This weed grows all over my lawn! It is a fast grower and will be above the grass in less than a week after mowing. It starts appearing in my yard around June and persists all sumemr. The stems are brittle, so it is very difficult to pull up.

    Looks like invasive Japanese knotweed that grows 8 inches a day in some places. Roots are 8 ft deep 20 ft spread
    Breaks off easy when tall but that causes more root growth. It’s hollow. Extremely invasive

    Without flowers & fruits it’s hard to tell more at this stage. You could let one grows a bit more mature then resubmit. It might providing more clues to help narrowing down.
