Notes:
Plan is only about 1.5″ tall and total diameter is about 4″ A single, large leaf is 2″. This volunteered in a larger pot that has basil in it, but there is so scent to the leaves. It started growing in June and not started any sort of flowering. It is mixed sun and shade – morning sun but mostly shade.

Wondering if it is a variety of hibiscus.

I ad a potatoe plant on the other side of the yard. This has not continued to grow like a potato plant. It also just has plain roots that go straight down. I dug it up and put it in a separate pot so I could watch it grow. One thought it could be boston ivy but I cannot find a picture there that resembles this. Still a mystery. Sorry for previous typos
