I found the seeds for this plant amongst my moms things when she passed. It is still growing. What is its name? Does it bloom?

Check Pride of Barbados. If it is it produces gorgeous flowers.

Pretty sure that is an annual. Not an invasive buddlea. If it turns out to not be a partridge pea, maybe check Sesbania. Both attractive plants, both soil building fabaceae, both attractive to butterflies. Definite keepers in my garden.

I’m not 100% on this, but you may have partridge pea (chamaecrista fasciculata) there. Yellow flowers and butterfly host plant. Some of mine are blooming now. The rest will start soon.
