My landscaper planted several of these along my walkway in Connecticut. He called them Pinky Winkies but when I search for those I find tall hydrangeas instead. They need to be pruned for next Spring and fertilized and I would like to learn what the plant is and how best to care for it. Thank you

Hi, it looks like Spiraea japonica to me, a very nice plant with a lime yellowish leaf, a good contrast for other plants with darker greens. They can get tall and bushy, depending on the variety. Since I can’t really see it well in your photo and since I don’t know your landscape plans, please forgive me for saying that it looks good as it is and not like it needs any trimming or pruning.
