Notes:
Small purple blooming perennial seems to be taking over our flower beds. It spreads with runners along the ground. Any ideas?

At a guess, Ruellia brittoniana Can’t really tell from the picture… Found a better picture: http://www.rarefloweringtrees.com/index.php?option=com_gallery2&Itemid=43&g2_itemId=1152 Seems like a good plant to keep in an island bed surrounded by turf… At my house, the deer eat it.
