Notes:
I got this plant from an aunt years ago. If multiplies easily. I’ve been told lip stick plant, bleeding heart, but don’t look like either to me. The leaves looks like a type of hibiscus

You are right about one of its common names “bleeding heart”. This looks like a species in the Malvaviscus genus, this is either M. aboreus or M. var. drummondii. Check out these included links for more information. Best wishes! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malvaviscus_arboreus
