saw this plant in nursery, they told the nut followed by flower can be eaten , name unknown , anybody know this plant plz help me

This looks like Bunchosia glandulifera, is a species in the Malpighiaceae family. From what I learned, it was misidentified as Bunchosia argentea in the United States horticultural trade. Google still shows images under B. argentea. To add to the confusion, its common name, Peanut-butter Plant, is shared with few other plants.
