We purchased a house with a large garden. I don’t recognize this tall plant. It doesn’t look, feel or smell like a weed, but maybe it is. Do you recognize it?

I can’t tell if those fuzzy images on the plants tops are flowers or not. If they are then these could be horseweed/marestail (Erigeron canadensis (synonym Conyza canadensis). Check it out and see if you have a match. If this isn’t horseweed, make new post with photos of flowers.
