Notes:

These pictures are several examples of flowers that I thought were called “Trillium”. They don’t really match any that I see online or elsewhere. The pictures were taken in western Montana May 31 of this year.

    Thank you for your response! Of the species listed I think this one looks most like most like a small Calochortus tolmiei although that is supposed to be found only farther west. In any case, I think they are really pretty flowers on a bare minimum of plant – just a stem and a grass-like leaf.
