Notes:
I was given an arrangement with this cutting in it the week before Mother’s Day. I am seeing what appears to be roots on the back of each mature leaf. No roots are forming on the cut area at all and I am having trouble finding out what this is, please help!

Maybe a type of butcher’s broom (Ruscus). This might be the spineless butcher’s broom (Ruscus hypopphyllum)? Check it out and see if you have a match. Best wishes! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruscus
