Found this plant in an area of Florida Scrub in Volusia County Florida. Have been unable to find anything like it online.

Yes, Laura – I was thinking Paw Paw too but there is realy not much resemblance to the Paw Paws I have seen in that same area.

Maybe a species of pawpaw (Asimina) (?). According to sources, there are eight native species of FL. The leaves & and the whole plant can help narrow down which species this is.
