Notes:
probably a plant which I planted, from a seed I received by mail. probably a plant possessing traditional medicinal properties. it is now growing in southern Quebec, Canada. it took two years to bloom, which means it survived the winter here.

Looks like a marsh mallow (Althaea sp.) didn’t know they grew those… did you? or It might be single bloom hollyhock (Alcea sp.) The lack of a bloom stalk leaves me leaning toward mallow.
