This tree is growing wild in a wooded area. It is fast growing and has sharp thorns on many of the branches.

Wish we could see closeup of the tree trunk/bark. I can’t tell if this could be a wild pear, perhaps something from callery pear (Pyrus calleryana) or the Osage orange (Maclura promifera)?
