Notes:
This area in our front yard was mostly dirt with a few patches of grass. The clover was planted about a month ago and the volunteers showed up just a few days ago, after 3 days of substantial rain. There are at least a hundred of these seedlings, throughout the clover. Nothing with this leaf type is growing anywhere in our yard or in the next door neighbors’ yard. I am wondering what it is so I can decide whether to leave it to coexist or pull it up before it gets out of hand. Thanks!

stone Master Identifier says:
Looks to me like tiger lilies from bulbils, or oriental lilies from flakes… or seedlings from one of the clumps in that perennial bed. I’d keep them at least long enough to get a positive id. Maybe you could pot some of them up to share at the next plant swap….
