I think the first is a type of day lily but have no clue of the second it looks like it is a type of bush

Agree with the daylily. Not able to see the rest of the second plant. I’m guessing, maybe a type loosestrife (Lythrum). this might a purple loosetrife (Lythrum salicaria) or one of its cultivars.
