Notes:
I live in Gwinnett County. This plant came up in a flower bed this spring. At as grown very fast. The stem (trunk) is sticky.

Yep, Jim is right – it’s a Paulownia. They grow insanely fast and tall. You have a decision to make: a) kill it aggressively before it goes to seed, or b) enjoy it as an annual, but *cut it off at the ground ever single fall*! If you cut it every year, each year you’ll get a bush with those nice big leaves. But, miss one single year and next thing you know you have a tree!
