My mom planted this plant about 4-5 years ago. She doesn’t remember the name. It hasn’t flowered.

Sometimes, if the plant is very young, it can take a year or two to bloom, but like MrsB said, it still should have bloomed by now. It looks mature, so it should bloom soon if it’s not a pruning issue like Karlene mentioned. Hydrangea usually bloom in summer. Maybe skip pruning for a bit and see what happens next summer. Have you been pruning in the fall or winter? If you have, then it hasn’t bloomed because you removed the buds that set the year before. Try not to prune later than july
