Notes:
This is in a friends garden. She is calling it a daylily, but I know it’s not hemerocallis. She lives in Tenessee. Looks like a bulb of some sort.

It’s a bit difficult with a straight down camera’s angle. With these leaves I’m guessing perhaps Lilium . When the flower opens and you still don’t know, make new post with flower’s picture. Best wishes!
