Notes:
Plant is in a hanging basket. Tubers are very overgrown and I need to know how to care for it.

So I might be over my pay grade here! If this is a tuberous begonia (you can look at pics online- there are various ones) I would keep the large tubers.

I don’t think my prior response went through. First of all, thank you very much! Did you mean tuberous begonia? I couldn’t find thunderous. Also this is a houseplant. The tubers are very big & overgrown. When I divide the plant do I just leave the huge tubers? I had read somewhere that a very old plant might need to be restarted from cuttings.

It looks like thunderous begins to me. I would dump the pot and divide into two or more pots. If it’s tuberous begins, it is not frost hardy.
