Notes:
I purchased two of these from Home Depot. They have been happy and so healthy I could hardly keep them trimmed. Then whammo. I would blame it on the cold but I have seen others with similar problems back when it was warm.

Given the topiary shape, probably a Eugenia Topiary. Various sites report this plant to be relatively easy to grow but I agree with your contributor. IÕve purchased in the past, the plant can be fine one day, then fatally dry up after no attention for 2 days. Future purchase of this plant for pots will be transplanted into a mixture of more peat or a moisture rentitive soil. I think the derivation from AustraliaÕs lush tropical region to the Atlanta heat in a fluffy retail soil spells disaster. Warm regards, Dr. Goodbread
