Notes:

It was a weed in our area rubber estates, flower is just like passion fruit, and the fruit is yellow in color with white pulp inside. No one seems eating this fruit in our area, I have tasted it many times, it’s sweeter. Any one knows what variety of passion fruit is this, especially is it edible, please help, the ripe fruits are in the size of a cherry tomato..plz help

    That could be a natural hybrid of Passiflora lutea and Passiflora incarnata. The size is pretty close to the lutea but the color is closer to incarnata. If you’ve tasted it many times with no ill effects, I’d say try eating the pulp from one whole one, and then wait and see. It’s probably edible.
