Walter, we planted our front slope with pachysandra, but a new invasive plant is gradually trying to take over. Can you help us identify the leafy culprit? How can we get rid of it responsibly? Thank you, Charles Exley

Leaves of three, let it be. Looks like poison Ivy to me as well. If the leaves get shiny later in the season I would eradicate it.

Does it bloom? The foliage and growth habit remind me of japanese anemone… very pretty blooms, but some can be aggressive.
