Hello, This plant is in the Western NC region and is very attractive to bees. it is not very tall but covers quite a bit of area. It appears to have yellow flowers with stems any idea what type?

    Maybe a cultivar of Prunus laurocerasus. I’m guessing this might be P. laurocerasus ‘Otto Luykens’?
