Notes:
Well over 7 feet tall, very large but thin arrow shaped leaves with these odd clusters of green pods and very tiny dark flowers. No clue after much searching. It has seeded itself and while easy to pull out, very prolific!

Yes, that is it! I looked it up using your suggestion and it is a Lactuca canadensis. Had no idea there were species of wild lettuce that could be so tall. Thanks for your help, it was driving me crazy trying to ID it!

Thank you Jim. I went looking at images of wild lettuce and that is it- Lactuca canadensis. it had me stumped for 2 years! Had no idea it could get so tall.
