Spontaneously sprung from bagged potting soil
That is Pokeweed, Phytolacca americana
Also called Poke Berry. Wildlife, especially birds and deer, love the berries. Can be invasive, because the berries root like crazy. Old-timers pick the leaves of this plant in early early sproutings for ‘poke salat.’
